Jeebus, I am getting way behind on this strip. Oh, sure, it’s still posting every Wednesday as scheduled, but you have no idea how close to the wire I am every week. I really need to get ahead.
Good news (depending on how you look at it): I plotted out most of the end of this story. Not “chapter.” Story. Yes, as I might have mentioned at some point in the past, The Utopian was never intended to run forever. Heck, it should have wrapped up by now (did you notice we passed the one-year anniversary and I didn’t even recognize it?), but moving from twice weekly to once weekly has slowed things down a bit.
Suffice to say, we’re getting into the home stretch here, and let me tell you, the ending I’ve cooked up has even taken me by surprise. All those set pieces you thought I forgot about? Everything is coming back together. But I’m not saying how. Stay tuned.
And remember: Don’t drive like my brother.
p.s. If you’d like to read some of my non-Utopian comic action, might I suggest you pre-order your copy of Omega Comics Presents #2?
