Pop! Goes the Icon is currently accepting submissions for:

Omega Comics Presents

Our flagship comic book anthology series, Omega Comics Presents, is being relaunched in 2011. Each full-color edition will contain one full-length (approx. 22 pages), standalone cover story, and one short (approx. 6 pages) back-up tale.

We are looking for complete creative teams or one-person creators interested in contributing original, professional-quality sequential art stories to this anthology. We are open to most genres, but the following will receive priority:

• Crime
• Non-fiction
• Romance
• Supernatural
• Nontraditional superhero
• Alternative culture/lifestyles

This is a showcase for all-original, creator-owned works that have not been previously published, either online or in print. Creators will receive royalties for all print and digital sales and retain all rights.

Send your pitches via e-mail to editor@popgoestheicon.com. Pitches should include a short synopsis of your story, four-to-six pages of script and at least one or two lettered or unlettered sample art pages (if finished pages are not available, sequential art samples from the proposed artist are acceptable).
