This Friday, March 25, Mark and Pj will be kicking it at the Double Down Saloon (4640 Paradise Road) for the live webcast of Double Down Radio – “Live From the Double Down Saloon” from 8 to 10 p.m. And this might be your first chance to hear the new material we’ve been recording for the last six months or so.

If you live in Las Vegas, you can come down and drink with the boys and experience the nonsense live as they talk about band stuff, art stuff, comic books, and whatever else comes up. AYU’s single “Alone” has already been spun on Area 107.9′s Sunday-night show “Local 107.9,” and just a few weeks ago, our latest cut, “Almost Gone,” got some airplay love on Laurie Steele’s “Homegrown” show (also Sunday nights) on KOMP. But who wouldn’t love to hear us go into regular rotation on either of those shows … or beyond?!

What can you do? Easy: Send an e-mail to Local Show Joe and Laurie Steele requesting — nay, demanding! — to hear more of As Yet Unbroken on their respective shows. It’s the right thing to do. And we sure do appreciate it.

Because a whole lot of you out there seem to love “My Reality” and we’ve never made it available for download before, we’re pleased to announce the song is now available as a free MP3 download at LasVegasWeekly.com. Of course, a number of you must already know this, because the song has been at the top of the site’s MP3 download charts since its debut last Friday. Even more, the top three songs currently on the site are ALL AYU tracks! We truly have the greatest fans. If you haven’t snagged your free music from us yet, well, go do it.

Speaking of free music, the non-internet world got its AYU radio debut this past Sunday night on Area 107.9-FM! Thanks so much to Local Show Joe for (wisely) choosing to play “Alone” during his show and thanks even more to all our fans and friends out there who listened in. We received a lot of phone calls, text messages and e-mails in the week leading up to the show (as the station ran promos all week) and even more after the song was played. As Yet Unbroken is making its radio debut this Sunday, Jan. 11, on Las Vegas’ Area 107.9-FM’s “Local 107.9.” The show runs from 10 to 11 p.m., and will also feature music from other Vegas-area bands such as Ministry of Love, April Crush, Close to Modern and many more.
